When our client’s wanted to escape from the city they wanted an escape that was close enough to get there in an hour or less but also feel as though they had traveled far. This gem of a get-away home was built in the early 1900’s and is one that feels as though you are in Europe, a true escape. With acres up on acres of rolling hills, this large Tudor style home sits grand. We were brought in to renovate the home bringing in new finishes and furnishings throughout as well as designing a pool house out of the existing shed located on the property. We added some modern feel while honoring the traditional characteristics. Incorporating a new lighting plan was first on our list. We kept many of the original tile surrounds in the fireplaces and created a dream kids space with a third floor custom bunk room. This dream oasis is one that is rich in history and will make memories for their family for years to come.
