Design Support Specialist

PART TIME 10-15 hours per week
We’re looking to bring a Design Support Specialist into our firm. The DSS will be an associate to work hand + hand with our Director Of Operations and Interior Design Teams as well as our full-service clients. We are looking for a patient, articulate, multi-talking and naturally driven individual with a passion for interior design and helping our firm provide the best service to our clients.
OVERVIEW
The Design Associate will assist in every step of the administrative and support facing side of the firm. Our DSS will work from assisting with claims, project lifecycles, studio product inventory.The DSS will also assist with maintaining an organized product library and stock lists and assisting our lead designers with project installations documentation.
RESPONSABILITIES
Develop organized claims systems
Assist with returns and coordination with our receiving and delivery company
Maintain an organized and simple library system for our interior designers
Order project samples and keep them organized within each project.
Assist in preparing our presentation meetings for our clients in our studio.
Communication with Director Of Operations and may assist with vendors to obtain quote, ask product questions and check on availability.
Assist in installation prep and onsite on install day(s)
Cultivate professional relationships with industry partners
Maintaining client expectations and open communication with respect to administrative and claims that may arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Google Workspace | Excel
Meticulously organized
Previous experience in a administrative role
Someone who prides themselves on extreme attention to detail
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
The confidence and skills to communicate clearly and with grace to our clients
The ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
Strong self-motivation
The ability to work as a team as well as individually
